When Alison & Jake Jones decided to update their Victorian house in Plymouth they knew that they needed to create an extra sleeping area.

Jake’s brother Tom, who lives in New Zealand, was arriving for a 6 month work placement in the UK in a couple of months and space was definitely about to become an issue.

The London Wallbed Company were recommended by a friend of the Jones’ who had recently had bunk beds installed for their kids room.

Alison called us and we talked about the size and layout of the house to find out what would be the most suitable area to install a wallbed.

Alison favoured the one of the upstairs rooms that Jake had been using as an office as they would be able to use one room for two purposes. Alison fax’d us a rough drawing of the room & after talking to Karim, one of our designers, we had found the best spot for the double wallbed.

The Jones’ placed their order and as we had the items in stock were able to start installation within 7 days.

‘The guy’s who came to carry out the work were fantastic’ says Alison, ‘it was all finished within 5 hours. Best of all, they left absolutely no mess.’

‘We wish we’d had the wallbed installed years ago – it’s just made so much difference. Tom loves the room & Jake loves the fact that he can have his office back when he needs it!’
